peggy answers the door and she’s lowkey an asshole so she lets him in even though she knows ang wont be home for a bit

phillip asks who it is and she’s like “oh just some guy with flowers for angelica” and ofc phillip wants to know what this guy is about and if he’s good enough for his baby (even tho he knows angelica wouldnt waste her time on anyone remotely not good enough, everyone knows she has high standards)

and thomas is not at all as suave and charming as his writing is or when he’s giving a speech so he sits there embarrassed and angry at peggy (the sisters like hamilton but they dont like him?) staring at his shoes while papa schuy stares at him until angelica comes back

and peggy ofc tells angelica whats going down before she even gets home so she kind of takes her time getting back while tom’s texting her ‘ang where are you peggy said you were like ten mins away’ ‘ang your dad keeps talking to me’ ‘ANGELICA’ 

she just laughs and doesnt respond bc she likes to see him squirm
